Dynes Transport forms a joint venture with the H W Richardson Group

Bringing together two great southern family businesses, the joint venture with HWR is an exciting move for Dynes Transport and will realise significant synergy benefits across both parties’ respective areas of specialised transport.

The joint venture with HWR is an exciting move for Dynes Transport and will realise significant synergy benefits across both parties’ respective areas of specialised transport. Importantly both parties have strong family ownership structures and company values. HWR has a interests across a wide range of transport, construction and fuel businesses which will complement Dynes and allow for greater utilisation of fleet assets.

Both businesses are focused on delivering Game Changing Transport solutions to their customers and working together will fast track development of new systems and solutions, and ensure efficient utilisation of assets.

Under the joint venture agreement the operations of HWR’s Southern Transport Logging will be transferred into the Dynes joint venture Company, and Dynes would also take a stake in HWR’s Hastings based Farmers Transport Ltd.

Importantly the businesses cultures and values are aligned, with both businesses having strong Southern roots that continue to be family owned.  Peter Dynes will continue to lead the Dynes businesses under the joint venture structure and operationally we will be business as usual.
